A. General

  • By placing an order, the purchaser implies its complete compliance without reservation to these Terms and Conditions of Sale and to the exclusion of any other document. These Terms and Conditions of Sale supersede any terms specified in the correspondence or in the purchase documents.
  • This contract shall be governed by the law in Queensland, and the parties accept the jurisdiction of the courts in Queensland in relation to any dispute.
  • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions of Sale is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any statutory obligation of the supplier, SALED AUSTRALIA, implied by the Sale of Goods Act, 1986

B. Warranty Conditions

  • SALED AUSTRALIA Pty Ltd guarantees the quality of electrical part of all products we stock for the various timeframes as advised in the specifications of all products.
  • The WARRANTY offered by SALED AUSTRALIA is conditional on the product being used in accordance with the Product Specifications and being Fit for Purpose.
  • The PURCHASER should be aware that criteria such as specified operating temperature ranges, and voltage requirements to be adhered to and the product not be exposed to any outside duress.
  • SALED AUSTRALIA recommends that our products be installed by experienced and confident workmen/tradesmen who have detailed knowledge to complete the installation successfully. The Purchaser should follow all instructions provided by the manufacturer and adhere to specific product handling/installation procedures as recommended by SALED AUSTRALIA.

C. Warranty Duration

D. Warranty Claims

(1) Incorrect item / Missing item / Damaged items during delivery

  1. Incorrect item / missing item : WITHIN 14 DAYS FROM ORDER
  2. Damaged items during delivery : WITHIN 3 DAYS FROM ORDER

No claim will be recognized unless made in writing and received by SALED AUSTRALIA PTY LTD within 14 days of delivery for the product (a) or 3 days in the case of goods damaged in transit(b).

Proof of any incorrect items or in-transit damage must be provided at the time of making a claim under warranty. The return of the product to SALED AUSTRALIA is initially at the purchasers’ expense. Please see below :

  • SALED AUSTRALIA are limited to the free replacement or repair of the goods claimed to be faulty only up to the gross amount of the invoice value of the goods claimed to be faulty.
  • Product authorized by SALED AUSTRALIA for return under our warranty provision shall be suitably packaged by the purchaser and shipped with freight prepaid by the purchaser to SALED AUSTRALIA.
  • Returned products by the purchaser which do not meet the above warranty conditions will be returned to the purchaser or disposed of us as agreed upon by both parties unless a further agreement is reached within 14 days. All related extra expenses such as handling or delivery shall be charged to the purchaser except for factory defective returning and damage during transport.

(2) Under a product warranty period

No claim will be recognized unless made in writing and received by SALED AUSTRALIA PTY LTD.

SA-LED AUSTRALIA warrants our products against defects in material and workmanship under normal use/application during the warranty period. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and lasts for each warranty period.

Defective products will be identified at the discretion of our quality control team, based on thorough inspection and evaluation of the product’s performance.

  • 1) Warranty Cover
  • This warranty covers:
  • – Defects in materials itself (factory-supplied materials).
  • – Limited Labour.
  • 2) Exclusion
  • This warranty does not cover:
  • – Products damaged due to misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, modification or improper installation.
  • – Products subjected to unauthorised repair or alteration.
  • – Normal wear and tear
  • – Damage during transit
  • – Storage
  • – Operated with third party product
  • 3) Claim Process
  • All claims must be lodged through our Claim Form. Please click the link for CLAIM FORM.
  • 4) Claim Result
  • During the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the defective product or its faulty components free of charge. A maximum labour warranty of $500 per site/location is provided for LED module products, and a maximum labour warranty of $100 per site/location is provided for power supplier products. Any labour costs exceeding this amount require formal approval from our customer service department or warranty division.

E. Price & Delivery

  • The price of our goods is subject to change without notice. The final transaction price shall include the price at the date of order, plus freight, packaging, handling, insurance, applicable GST and other expenses. If other specific requirements are not designated in writing, any further expense shall be charged by the purchaser at the date of delivery upon the agreement between the purchaser and SALED AUSTRALIA
  • Dates of all delivery are estimated to the best of our knowledge and are not guaranteed. SALED AUSTRALIA will choose the transport or delivery companies with freight prepaid and added to the price of the relevant product in the absence of specific instructions.
  • SALED AUSTRALIA shall not be deemed to assume any liability in connection with any delivery because of the selection of carrier service or its failure to obtain insurance. The risk of damage to each product will pass to the purchaser when delivery is made to the possession of the carrier.

F. Terms of Payment

  • Every product price on the SALED AUSTRALIA website is displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD), and all final transactions will be processed in AUD
  • The payment of all materials, goods and services GST etc are due in accordance with the terms agreed between SALED AUSTRALIA and the purchaser. Only a fully paid order will be despatched or services provided for unless otherwise stated in writing by SALED AUSTRALIA.
  • Ownership & Property of the goods delivered or collected shall only pass from SALED AUSTRALIA to the purchaser when payment in full has been received and confirmed.

G. Goods Returns Policy

Return of items back into SALED Australia stock can only be accepted if –

  • The items are in their original packaging and are unopened, complete with a copy of your order and received within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • The items are returned to SALED Australia at your cost.
  • A re-stocking fee of 7% will be deducted from the total amount to be credited to your SAled online account, NO EXCEPTIONS.

If the above conditions are met, and items are inspected and confirmed that they are suitable for resale,the refund procedure will be processed.
